Assessor Duties:
- Process assessment exemptions:
(Homestead Limited, Homestead Senior Citizen, and Senior Assessment Freeze Exemption)
- Accept assessment Complaints once a year for Board of Review
- Compile all Equalized Assessment Value for Ad Valorem Tax Purposes
- Complete all divisions of property on the Cadastral Maps
- Complete Declaration Sheets and forward to the State of Illinois for the Annual Sales Study
- Maintain Assessment data
